MERN Stack Development Workshop with Creative IT In December 2024, JUKTI - Official Club of CSE, IUB joined forces with Creative IT Institute to host a specialized two-part workshop series designed to give students practical, hands-on exposure to full-stack JavaScript development through the MERN stack. The training was led by Shohel Rana Baig, Senior Faculty (MERN Stack Developer) from Creative IT's Web & Software Department. The first leg took place on December 12 at Room 6013 in the BC Building, running from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This on-campus session focused squarely on front-end architecture, walking participants through modern UI design patterns, state management, and component workflows using React. An interactive technical quiz closed out the morning, rewarding top-performing students with attractive prizes. The program continued on December 14 with the second segment held directly at the Creative IT campus in Dhanmondi at 3:00 PM. Shifting gears toward server-side engineering, participants explored back-end API construction, database modeling, and secure client-server communication using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Students who successfully completed both modules earned formal certificates of completion, gaining actionable web development competencies and industry-relevant portfolio experience.
