From Concept to Venture: Startup IUB @CSE Connects Student Innovators with Industry Leaders Startup IUB @CSE, organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and supported by JUKTI - Official Club of CSE, IUB, concluded as a landmark event bridging student tech innovation with Bangladesh's startup ecosystem. The symposium brought an esteemed delegation of national tech leaders, venture capitalists, and industry stalwarts directly into conversation with student founders: Sonia Bashir Kabir, Founder of SBK Tech Ventures and SBK Foundation Sami Ahmed, Managing Director of Startup Bangladesh Limited Wahid Sharif, President of BACCO Sohael Reza, CEO of ADN Diginet Dr. Tanjiba Rahman, Chairman of Bangladesh Freelancer Development Society The program was attended by senior academic leadership, including Dr. Md. Mamun Ibne Reha, Dean of the School of Engineering, Technology and Sciences (SETS), and Dr. Mahady Hasan, Head of the Department of CSE. Ms. Sabrina Alam, Head of Industry-Academia Collaboration for the CSE Department and JUKTI's Faculty Advisor, highlighted the strategic importance of aligning academic software development with viable market pathways.
