Standing in Solidarity: Emergency Blood Donation and Relief Support for the Milestone Tragedy Following the catastrophic plane crash and resulting fire at Milestone School and College in Uttara, JUKTI joined hands with the IUB Music Club to mobilize vital relief and volunteer support for the victims. With dozens of injured students and staff admitted to specialized trauma and burn facilities across Dhaka, hospitals faced an immediate, critical demand for blood transfusions and donor coordination. In response, student leaders and volunteers stepped forward to set up a direct emergency network on campus. Volunteering alongside the IUB Music Club, JUKTI helped coordinate prospective student donors and emergency logistics, connecting ready donors with hospital contacts and triage needs. Club representative Golam Rabbani Rony served as a primary point of contact to channel student volunteers toward donation centers where urgent blood types were required. The initiative highlighted the university student community coming together during a national crisis, showing empathy, quick action, and solidarity in the face of profound grief.
